My Teaching

My main focus is my pupil’s enjoyment in learning music, whether it is to play for fun or to work towards an exam. I teach both online and face to face lessons. I really enjoy teaching and use every opportunity to provide a performance platform for my students.

This can be very useful if preparing for exams. Performing in public is very useful in preparation for exams and also helps with learning to cope with performance anxiety.

Due to Covid-19, online exams have been introduced so this helps students who find performing live difficult.

What Styles Do I Teach?

I teach all styles of music including classical, rock & pop and musical theatre. My view is that you should learn music you enjoy listening to as this makes learning much more encapsulating.

What Ages Do I Teach?

I teach all ages and abilities from children as young as 4 years old to adults of 80 years old.  You are never too old to learn!

What Exam Boards Do I Use?

I mainly work with Trinity College London, but also work with the London College of Music (LCM/University of West London) and ABRSM exam boards.
